Lisa is a personal trainer with additional training and certifications in corrective exercise. She is qualified to evaluate posture, gait, and various movements to identify movement dysfunction and prescribe corrective exercises that will enhance the way you feel and perform.
Corrective Exercise does not replace medical professionals such as doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, etc. Corrective exercise can supplement medical care or help you prevent the need for medical care. I can help you assess whether corrective exercise is a good fit for you or whether you need to be seen by a medical professional. If your medical professional has cleared you to exercise, I can work with you to help you strengthen and rehabilitate after an injury.
Lisa’s certifications are from the International Sports Sciences Association and from Core Exercise Solutions. She is certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and also has additional training as a Pregnancy & Post-partum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Lisa also has a bachelor’s degree in education and has many years of experience breaking down complex ideas and tasks so they are understandable and approachable.
Lisa is the mother of five children and understands the pregnant and post-partum body. She has experience with the challenges of restoring function after pregnancy and birth. She also understands the desire to “feel like yourself again” and knows that the issues and dysfunction after giving birth can linger for many years. Even if you baby is an adult, it is never too late!
